First it was Gordon Lightfoot, then the Smiths Andy Rourke and now yesterday the great Tina Turner died yesterday. Other famous people have died this year, including football great and civil rights activist Jim Brown. Other great people that have died in 2023 include Lance Reddick, Raquel Welch, Burt Bacharach, Cindy Williams, Lisa Marie Presley and Jeff Beck.
All those deaths are sad, but I’m going to go with a happy songs blog.
