In 1982 Disco music had almost all but died out. It was being replaced by New Wave music, you can feel that influence on this list. You can also feel the influence of MTV, yes MTV used have music and influence. New Wave music took full advantage of the visual medium and that’s partly why it exploded in the early 80s.
