(Finished October 22nd, 2023) Part 1 of The Best 80s Obscure Songs

Hello,

I don’t really know which 80s songs are obscure, it’s different for everyone. For instance, most people don’t have a clue who The Hooters are. No they’re not a restaurant or where they named after the so-called “restaurant”. The Hooters are a band from Philadelphia. They released their second CD, “Nervous Night” in 1985. Their most famous song is likely “And We Danced”. But every song on “Nervous Night” is great. They are lesser known but not obscure in my book.

Anyway here are the best obscure songs of the 80s, eventually I’ll include some Hooters music.

  1. Royal Philharmonic Orchestra “Hooked On Classics”:

2) Stars On 45 “Stars On 45”:

3) Diana Ross “Eaten Alive”:

4) Linda Ronstadt “How Do I Make You”:

5) Debbie Gibson “Foolish Beat”:

6) The B-52’s “Strobe Light”:

7) Billy Joel “Sometimes A Fantasy”:

8) Andy Gibb “Desire”:

One of the sexiest songs of the 80s. 9) Laura Branigan “Self Control”:

10) Quarterflash “Take Me To Heart”:

11) Donny Osmond “Soldier of Love”:

12) The Dirt Band “American Dream”:

13) Blondie “The Tide Is High”:
