Hello,
I don’t really know which 80s songs are obscure, it’s different for everyone. For instance, most people don’t have a clue who The Hooters are. No they’re not a restaurant or where they named after the so-called “restaurant”. The Hooters are a band from Philadelphia. They released their second CD, “Nervous Night” in 1985. Their most famous song is likely “And We Danced”. But every song on “Nervous Night” is great. They are lesser known but not obscure in my book.
Anyway here are the best obscure songs of the 80s, eventually I’ll include some Hooters music.
18) Bob Marley and the Wailers “Redemption Song”:
19) Brothers Johnson “Stomp”:
This version is incredibly moving. 20) Bruce Springsteen “The River”:
21) The Chords “Maybe Tomorrow”:
22) The Alan Parsons Project “Time”:
23) The Jets “Cross My Broken Heart”:
24) Olivia Newton John featuring Cliff Richard “Suddenly”:
As promised here’s a Hooters song. 25) The Hooters “Satelite”:
26) Baltimora “Tarzan Boy”:
27) Sinead O’Connor “Mandinka”:
28) John Cougar “Ain’t Even Done With The Night”:
29) Judas Priest “United”:
30) Journey “Anyway You Want It”:
