(Finished November 29th, 2023) My 17 Most Played Led Zeppelin Songs

Hello,

Who is Led Zeppelin? If you don’t know you are probably at the wrong blog. Not only is Led Zeppelin the greatest band, but they are also my all-time favorite band. The sum of the parts of Led Zeppelin are golden voiced singer Robert Plant, ace guitarist, producer and arranger Jimmy Page, thunderous drummer John Bonham and Mr. All Around John Paul Jones.

Led Zeppelin is celebrating their 55th anniversary this year, which is 43 year longer than they were originally together. Sadly Led Zeppelin came to an end when John Bonham essentially drank himself to death- drinking an incredible amount of vodka in less than 24 hours. When the 3/4ths reunited Zeppelin played Live Aid they notably played with two drummers that day. Those two drummers were the very qualified Phil Collins and Tony Thompson. Bonham’s legacy is carried on by his son, Jason is a talented drummer in his own right.

Post Led Zeppelin Robert Plant has been the most successful, but both Jimmy Page and John Paul Jones continue to perform, creating new music. Robert Plant has worked with many people including Alison Krauss, Jimmy Page has worked with The Black Crowes, David Coverdale, The Firm and again with Plant. John Paul Jones has been all over the place, he most notably has played with Them Crooked Vultures.
