(Finished December 16th, 2023) My 17 Most Played Songs of the 70s

Hello,

When you think of the 70s, what do you think of? Some of the things I think about include Disco, my favorite movie of all-time “Star Wars”, “Saturday Night Fever”, Atari, making bionic sounds, Saturday morning cartoons, “Jaws”, “Schoolhouse Rock”, “American Pie”, the Patty Hearst “kidnapping”, sea monkeys, “The Brady Bunch” tv test patterns and many other great and bizarre things.

Thanks to this website https://bestlifeonline.com/1970s-nostalgia/ for some of the ideas below.

Other 70s things I thought about while working on this blog Watergate, President Jimmy Carter, “The Hustle”, Meat Loaf, the Vietnam War/fiasco, Bob Seger and the Silver Bullet Band, Alice Cooper, The Who, Queen, the greatest band of all-time Led Zeppelin, the Kent State shootings, The Bee Gees, “Saturday Night Fever”, Donna Summer and “Bohemian Rhapsody”.

Myles Goodwyn was the long time singer for April Wine, he passed away about two weeks ago. R.I.P. Myles. April Wine will never be considered one of the biggest or best bands of the 70s. However April Wine also had “I Like To Rock”, “Sign of the Gypsy Queen” and lesser known “One More Time”. They also had a power ballad before power ballads were a thing, “Just Because You and Me”. 2) April Wine “Roller”:

As I said my favorite movie of all-time… 1) John Williams Main Theme of “Star Wars”:
