(Finished May 25th, 2024) Part 1 of The Goofiest, But Mostly Great Songs of the 80s

Hello,

These are the best silliest songs from the 80s, silly songs that are still great.

These first two songs are from Styx’s “Kilroy Was Here”. I still loved the CD and loved seeing the same tour at the old Salt Palace. I thought the movie that started the concert, see below, was the coolest thing. Now with older eyes I recognize it for some incredibly bad acting. 1) Styx “Heavy Metal Poisoning”:

2) Styx saves the world from people trying to kill rock and roll. “Mr. Roboto”:

3) Starship “We Built This City”:

4) Twisted Sister “We’re Not Gonna Take It”:

4) Green Jelly “Three Little Pigs”:

5) Billy Crystal “You Look Marvelous”:

6) Men Without Hats “Pop Goes The World”:

7) Men Without Hats “The Safety Dance”:

8) Lipps Inc. “Funky Town”:

9) Devo “Whip It”:

10) The Vapors “Turning Japanese”:

11) Bob and Doug McKenzie “Take Off”:

12) Joey Scarbury “Believe It Or Not”:

13) Thomas Dolby “She Blinded Me WIth Science”:

14) Taco “Puttin’ On The Ritz”:

15) Matthew Wilder “Break My Stride”:

16) Baltimora “Tarzan Boy”:

17) Yello “Oh Yeah”:
