Hello,
This past Friday Linkin Park made a sparkling re-debut with Dead Singer Emily Armstrong. I wouldn’t say she’s replacing Chester Bennington, more like giving the band a different angle. One of my favorite things is a woman with a big voice singing over some blistering rock music. And that’s what we got Friday. Linkin Park is also going on a tour and will be releasing a new album in November.
According to setlist.fm this was the songs they performed Friday:
- The Requiem(with elements of “Castle of Glass” and “One Step Closer”)
- The Emptiness Machine(live debut; extended intro)
- Somewhere I Belong
- Crawling (with band introductions)
- Lying From You(first time played since 2013)
- The Catalyst(no bridge & third chorus)
- Waiting for the End
- Numb(with “Numb/Encore” intro)
- One Step Closer(with “Road to Revolution” extended intro/outro)
- Lost (live debut; partial; extended intro; Mike and Emily duet piano version)
- What I’ve Done
- In the End (extended intro)
- Faint (extended outro)
- Encore:
- Song played from tape: The Requiem (with elements of “Castle of Glass”)
- Papercut
- Bleed It Out(with “A Place for My Head” snippet in bridge; extended outro)
- In the End / Numb
This is one of the new songs off that album, the song is “The Emptiness Machine”:
