(Finished November 9th, 2024) Part 2 of Songs From My iPod: Songs Matching My Mood

Hello,

I’m devastated by Trump winning the election this past Tuesday night. When I went out walking this morning my iPod picked songs that seemed to match my mood. As I’ve thought about that theme I’ve thought of other songs that match my mood.

18) The Smiths “Panic”:

19) The Cranberries “Zombie”:

I didn’t know this was a Judas Priest cover. 20) Halestorm “Dissident Aggressor”:

21) JD McPherson “Desperate Love”:

22) Jelly Roll “Winning Streak”:

23) Rage Against The Machine “Killing In The Name”:

24) Green Day “Know Your Enemy”:

25) Pearl Jam “Hunted Down”:

This song captures my current mood so well. 26) John Anderson “Down In Tennessee”:

This song was written about people like Trump, who had parents that could buy their kids way out of fighting in the Vietnam War. 27) CCR “Fortunate Son”:

This song appropriately reminds us of the plight of our our black, brown and immigrant friends over the next four years. 28) The Highwomen “The Highwomen”:

29) XTC “Mayor Of Simpleton”:

30) Broken Witt Rebels “The Rich Get Richer”:

31) En Vogue “Free Your Mind”:

This song I think will fit the Trump presidency all too well. 32) The Ben Folds Five “Brick”:

33) Queensryche “Resistance”:

34) The Rolling Stones “Gimme Shelter”:
