Hello,
Jimmy Page was born this day in 1944. The legendary guitarist was born in the West London suburb of Heston. (Thanks to Wikipedia.org). His most well known work is with the greatest rock band of all-time. Before that he was a very successful session musician.
After the too early death of John Bonham Led Zeppelin broke up and Jimmy Page went out on his own. Although he did work again with Robert Plant along with The Black Crowes, The Firm, The Honeydrippers and David Coverdale. The opening act of this two blog series are the songs he did outside of Led Zeppelin- albeit I’ll include some reworkings of Led Zeppelin songs.
If I don’t list Jimmy Page’s name with a song, understand that Jimmy is playing guitar on that track.

One of my favorite live performances of a song ever. 10b) Joe Cocker live at Woodstock with an electrifying version of “With A Little Help From My Friends”:
What an electric moment that would have been. Dave Grohl is doing a great job on those drums. John Bonham would be proud. 11) Live with The Foo Fighters and John Paul Jones “Ramble On”:
