(Finished October 9th, 2025) Part 1 of VH1’s Top 50 One Hit Wonders of the 80s

Hello,

Whether these artists only had one hit, no hits or multiple hits these are about 45 of the best 80s songs. Many are actually some of the greatest songs of all-time. Enjoy these amazing songs. I will add a second, or third, song for each musician to show that most of them were more than just one hit.

Thanks to VH1 and Charlie’s 80s Attic Radio Station.

“Raw Like Sushi” is one of the best CDs of the 80s. 50) Neneh Cherry “Buffalo Stance”:

Neneh Cherry “Kisses On The Wind”:

Teddybears featuring Neneh Cherry “Yours To Keep”:

Philip Bailey was a member of the amazing funk band Earth, Wind and Fire. But as for this blog I’m going to focus on Bailey’s solo career. 49) Philip Bailey and Phil Collins “Easy Lover”:

While “Easy Lover” went to #2, all “Chinese Wall” could do is move up to #46. As far as I know I’ve never heard “Walking on the Chinese Wall”:

But their only other song that ranked anyway in America is 1981’s “I Love You”:
