(Finished December 9th, 2025) Part 1 of “The Runarounds” And The Best of 2004 Alt Rock

Hello,

Inspired by “The Runarounds” TV show. I’ve only watched two episodes so far and I’m quite liking it. It feels like such a 80s show- maybe I’m the only one that thinks that. The things that make me think that is the great music- including a few 80s songs- and teenagers doing stupid things. Then of course the most important element is having the quintessential babe. That woman, twenty one year old Lilah Pate, is so beautiful that she could have been an 80s babe.

The soundtrack is great. But I’m going to focus on the Franz Ferdinand song that they played in episode 1.

First up three Franz Ferdinand songs:

1) “Take Me Out”:

2) “The Dark of the Matinee”:

3) “Your Diary”:

4) The Killers “Somebody Told Me”:

5) Jet “Are You Going To Be My Girl”:

6) Green Day “American Idiot”:

7) Switchfoot “Meant To Live”:

8) Yellowcard “Ocean Avenue”:

9) The Walkmen “The Rat”:

10) U2 “Vertigo”:

If you get a chance to see these guys in concert, do it. They put on a hell of a show and are very fun. 11) The Darkness “I Believe In A Thing Called Love”:

12) Death Cab For Cutie “The Sound of Settling”:

13) Morrissey “Irish Blood, English Heart”:

14) My Chemical Romance “I’m Not Okay (I Promise)”:

15) Keane “Somewhere Only We Know”:

16) Modest Mouse “Ocean Breathes Salty”:

17) The Postal Service “Such Great Heights”:
