(Finished March 1st, 2026) Part 2 Of All The Best of Billy Joel
Hello, It was announced recently that Billy Joel and Sting will be in concert in Salt Lake City in May 2025. That’s a dream pairing if there ever was one. Before Sting was a big solo star he was a member of The Police. As for Billy Joel he’s been a pretty big star for…

(Finished February 13th, 2026) Getting To Know Avatar
Hello, Avatar is a Swedish metal band with 10 CDs to their name, including their most recent CD 2025’s “Don’t Go In The Forest”. From my very limited knowledge of their music this is their best CD. But I’ve only listened to two of their ten CDs. I likely wouldn’t have heard of these guys…

Hello, As I’m working on the best 80s ballads I want to work on the 80s most underrated songs of all-time. These are great songs that for some reason have been mostly lost to time. These songs should be more popular and better remembered now. That is unless a weirdo like me dredges them up…

Hello, I’ve gone back and reworked all these blogs. Originally they were the best obscure 90s songs. When I was originally working on them I let them get out of complete order. For a Christmas Day project I have reworked and revamped all of these blogs. I will keep the original blogs, but then make…

(Finished January 16th, 2026) Part 3 of the Top 100 Songs of September 15, 1990
Hello, Thanks to Billboard for this countdown. Wow, this Hot 100 countdown is crazy. As this is late 1990, it’s not surprising that a lot of the 80s spills over into the 90s. But seriously how many boy bands did the early 90s really need. A lot of dance music from the 80s also showed…

(Finished January 11th, 2026) Part 9 of Best Country Songs That Give You The Feels
Hello, This series of blogs is inspired by TIm McGraw’s “Red Ragtop”, a song I heard on a recent morning walk. I won’t be adding Dolly Parton’s “Little Andy”- that song is just too damn sad for me. Feels come in both happy and sad varieties. But songs with sad feels seem to be more…
