Hello,
Hey it only took me 1.5 years to continue working on Part 2 of this blog series.
The legendary Quincy Jones died on Sunday, November 3rd, 2024 at the age of 91. I don’t need to write a long introduction- you can read that in other places very easily.
Just a very brief summary of his career. He worked with Michael Jackson, Frank Sinatra, Ray Charles, Lesley Gore, James Ingram, Diana Ross and Grace. He was the producer behind perhaps Michael Jackson’s three biggest CDs “Off The Wall”, “Thriller” and Bad”. He’s also the man behind “We Are The World”, which is an absolutely brilliant song.
