(Finished May 16th, 2026) Part 2 of The Five Best Songs of The Greatest 250ish CDs of All-Time: Honorable Mentions

Hello,

Today I started working on my Top 250ish greatest albums of all-time. As of now it’s 250ish as I’m not sure how many CDs this list will actually contain. This is a preview for that blog series. I’ve selected 100 CDs so far, but I’m already struggling to find more. I originally had planned to have this blog series contain 300 CDs. I’ll post the 5 best songs from each CD and honorable mentions. Honorable mentions means songs that are at least very good but weren’t in the Top 5 for any CD. First I’m going to post all the honorable mentions. I’m not sure how many that will be, after that I will post the Top 5 songs from each CD randomly.

These are songs from the greatest albums of all-time, but not in the top five songs from those albums. Thus the honorable mentions.

1) Yes “Hearts”:

2) Neil Young and Crazy Horse “Train of Love”:

3) Weezer “Why Bother”:

4) Tool “Intolerance”:

5) Madonna “Stay”:

6) Metallica “Holier Than Thou”:

7) Living Colour “What’s Your Favorite Colour”:

8) Lady Gaga featuring Space Cowboy and Flo Rida “Starstruck”:
