(Finished June 15th, 2026) Part 4 of Those Good Old, Sad Mournful Songs That Touch Your Spirit

Hello,

I keep on saying the “Twisters” soundtrack is the best CD of 2024. At least 20 of the 29 songs are near classics. Country music isn’t even close to being my favorite genre, but I’m not a hater. But I can’t believe how many great country songs are on “Twisters”. On my walk I heard Tyler Childers “Song While You Were Away”.

It put me in the mood that a great ballad does. This blog is a tribute to all those great ballads and mournful songs that bring so much great music in the world.
